The World's First Cafe-Hopping Festival is Happening in Singapore

Hip cafes with all-day breakfast menus have been popping up all over the island for quite a while now, most notably in Tiong Bahru, which has been largely gentrified.

But now, the hipster-ification of Singapore is complete.

Cafe culture has culminated in Singapore for Cafe Fest, the world's first-ever cafe-hopping event. Come September, 12 homegrown cafes will be serving up coffee and pastries along with live local music performances from bands such as 53A, Marc X Hashy and The Sessionists by the waterfront.

Expect instagram-worthy coffee latte art, pastries and sweet treats from hot spots like Maison Ikkoku, Toby's Estate, I am, Cake Love, OZ Specialty Coffee and more. Friends and family can join in the festival fun and participate in an old-fashioned coffee sack race, among other games and activities.

While admission is free of charge, festival visitors will have to purchase a cafe-hopping pass available now from the website, priced at $20 (early bird) for full access to all of the cafes and activities, or a VIP pass at $30 for priority entry at registration, access to the VIP area, and a welcome drink to start the festivities. (Bonus: both regular and VIP passes get you free Uber rides on both days!)

Slated to cater to over 4,000 cafe-hopping-lovers for an experience by the bay, make sure you get your tickets while its still early!
