On aura tout vu by Livia Stoianova and Yassen Samouilov’s closing show at Fide Fashion Week had models burning up the runway with a "Fire and Ice" themed world of fantasy. "Dare to Bare" could have been the second theme at the show, with thigh-high slit dresses, sheer tops, and deep cleavage putting lots of skin on display. Fur, feathers, crystals and rhinestones were incorporated into the bold looks throughout the whole collection.
The show opened with the "Fire" theme
using a dark, sombre colour palette in black, red, and deep purple accented with houndstooth and galaxy prints.
White lace and fur signalled the transition into the "Ice" theme of the show.
After the chillingly chic looks from an "Ice" theme, the "Fire" theme made a comeback with fiery red hot evening gowns that got the crowd all fired up.
Finally, the show closed with the "Ice Queen", dressed in the finale dress, a clean white gown ornately adorned with feathers and jewels only befitting for a queen. A queen needs company, and this "Ice Queen" had hers in the form of two centaurs (a creature from Greek Mythology with the head, arms, and torso of a man and the body and legs of a horse) that flanked her on both sides as she walked the runway.
Interesting: While reading up on on aura tout vu, I found modewalk.com, a website that is apparently is the only online retailer to offer Haute Couture.
On aura tout vu's pieces from the show are even available on the site right now!
Even if you can't afford a Haute Couture piece from on aura tout vu, you can still buy a little piece of the brand. The site offers on aura tout vu accessories and jewelery as well, at an affordable price range of most under $200. Some pieces are also currently on sale (double bonus!)
What are you waiting for? Run, don't walk.
