The event featured a Bespoke theme this year, celebrating the traditional art of tailor-making in fashion and jewellery designing in fashion, and the high degree of customization and attention-to-detail it involves.
The Grey Goose Guild was inaugurated as a fashion event in 2011 to establish a community of inspiring and influential icons within the fashion industry in Singapore, and eventually other parts of Asia. Participants, past and present, will be part of the exclusive community, and will always be associated with the prestigious event and brand - a plaque has been created to recognize designers past and present.

Carrie K. Artisan Jewellery, a Singapore-based brand of artisan-crafted jewellery, Ong Shunmugam, a local label known for its take on the cheongsam (and one of only two local labels to show at Paris Fashion Week this year!), and MENSWEAR MENSWEAR, an international online fashion house presented pieces inspired by Grey Goose vodka, as well as their latest collections in a runway show.
The jewellery pieces shown above by Carrie K. are part of her popular Heavy Mettle collection, which recently released a new range of metallic pop colours, as extensions to the collection. All pieces will now come in mint, copper and ice blue (shown below).
The simpler ‘Heavy Mettle Relay Necklace’ (above), a younger sibling of the striking ‘Heavy Mettle Necklace’(below), is perfect for everyday wear!
The Heavy Mettle Collection is about inner strength and about not judging a book by its cover. The leather pieces are reversible, made of lattice worked leather and treated to look like they are made of metal.
The new Heavy Mettle metallic colours are now available at TANGS Singapore and at the Carrie K. Atelier.
