Its a Revolution of an attitude of length! Revolting against the ubiquity of the ultra-short dress are long skirts, and wide legged pants, back to the 70s, when the mini was toppled. Thats right, wide, long and lean is back!
It's sending a message to girls: showing skin does not necessarily make you sexy. I find that sex appeal, when not obvious and in your face is the best.

The new approach to length was resonated all over the fall/winter runways. Marc Jacobs, Celine, Chloe, Calvin Klein and Dries Van Noten all came out with different variations to the new attitude to length.
