Fall 2010 Campaigns Go Black and White

Most of the major fall campaigns have debuted, and there seems to be a trend among the fashion houses: a lack of color. Seven major fashion houses opted for the B&W look, after an especially colorful spring campaign season.

Yves Saint Laurent

The Yves Saint Laurent ones are my favourites.

The Valentino Fall ad continues with the label's radical change and evolution, which has been happening ever since Mr. Valentino has stopped designing for Valentino in 2008. Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli are driving Valentino in a "younger, more contemporary and desirable direction, according to the brand's CEO Stefano Sassi. Each ad shows the model in two side-by-side images, one of her nude, and the other fully clothed.
